Cheap Gas Finder USA is developed by Vermilion Apps LLC. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is used.

Location Data

The app uses your device's location to find nearby gas stations. Your location is:

• Sent to our server to query gas station prices near you
• Rounded to approximately 200 meters before any network request
• Never stored on our servers — used only to fulfill your search
• Never shared with third parties for advertising or tracking

Location access is requested only when you use the app. The app uses foreground-only location ("When In Use" on iOS, no background-location permission on Android) — your location is never queried while the app is closed.

Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data beyond what is described above.

• No contacts, photos, or health data accessed
• No advertising identifiers used
• No cookies or browser fingerprinting

Data Retrieval

The app retrieves gas station data from servers operated by Vermilion Apps. Your approximate location (rounded) is sent to our servers to find nearby stations. No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store (on iOS / watchOS) or by Google through Google Play Billing (on Android). Vermilion Apps does not receive or store your payment information — it is handled entirely by Apple or Google.

Analytics & Tracking

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No telemetry is collected.

Data Storage

Gas station prices are cached locally on your device to reduce network requests. Favorite stations and preferences are stored on-device. If you delete the app, all local data is removed.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no personal data from any user, the app is safe for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
