Overview
Runner's Tools is developed by Vermilion Apps. This policy explains what data the Android app accesses, how it is used, how long it is retained, and how you can request its deletion.
Data We Process
Runner's Tools does not require an account and does not collect personal data on our servers. The app works entirely on your device.
The app allows you to enter running and fitness-related information so its calculators can work. Depending on how you use the app, this may include pace, race time, race distance, elevation, elevation gain, elevation loss, temperature, humidity, age, sex, and unit preferences. Google Play may treat some of this information, such as age, sex, and fitness-related inputs, as Health Data.
How We Use Health-Related Data
Any health-related or fitness-related information you enter is used only to provide the app's features, including race prediction, age grading, training pace calculations, race splits, treadmill conversions, and environmental calculations.
We do not sell this data, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling. We do not send it to Vermilion Apps servers or to third parties.
Permissions, Analytics, and Sharing
The Android app does not request health permissions, location permissions, contacts, camera, microphone, or account access. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the app.
Data Storage
Your inputs and settings are stored locally on your device using Android app storage so your last-used values are available the next time you open the app. Vermilion Apps does not keep a server-side copy of any data you enter into the app.
Data Retention
All app data is stored on your device only and is retained for as long as the app remains installed and you have not cleared its storage. Vermilion Apps does not retain any of your data on its servers because no data is ever transmitted off your device.
If you contact us for support, any personal information you include in your email (such as your name or email address) is retained only for as long as needed to resolve your request and is deleted afterward.
Data Deletion
You can delete all data stored by Runner's Tools at any time using either of the following methods:
- Clear app data: Open your device's Settings app, tap Apps (or Apps & notifications), select Runner's Tools, tap Storage, then tap Clear Data (or Clear Storage). This removes all locally stored inputs and preferences while keeping the app installed.
- Uninstall the app: Uninstalling Runner's Tools from your device automatically deletes all data the app has stored.
Because no data leaves your device, there is nothing for Vermilion Apps to delete on its end. If you have contacted us for support and would like us to delete any correspondence, please visit our support page to submit a deletion request.
Children's Privacy
Runner's Tools does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because app data stays on-device and no account is required, there is no server-side user profile for children or adults.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the revised version on this page and update the date below.
